Kona Snaps, North Kohala Day

October 7, 2010

Counting down to Saturday’s Ford Iron Man World Championship. Place is crawling with ridiculously fit robo-athletes. Makes me feel like a real empanada! Happily, we’re finding Kona is a tough, tough place to pass time with our tiny army of two.

No hiking into Pololu Valley (sadly), just looking!

Dragonfruit Sorbet

Downtown Hawi

Can never embark on liberal indoctrination too early

Typical Bronte pose during much needed afternoon coffee pit stop, note robo-athlete over shoulder

Trying so hard to be patient

Feeling the love

Powerful Mo‘okini Heiau

Also, my brother Kevin Taddonio, is getting some great plugs in the chat rooms, scroll to the 25-29 age group. 72 hours to race day!

I like that area! Very pretty. I also like the airplaining!
